The reigning African women champions fell 2-1 to Cote d’Ivoire in their last group game and will now slug it out with the Bayana Bayana in the last eight
Nigeria will battle South Africa for a place in the final of the 2015 All African Games women’s football event.
Goals from Niamen Edwige and Estelle Nahi condemned the Super Falcons to a 2-1 defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in their last group game at the Stade Municipal de Kintele, Brazzaville despite Mercy Amanze’s early lead.
The defeat meant Nigeria finished as Group A runners up with six points with the Elephant ladies winning the group with nine points.
Bafana Bafana on their own part topped Group B while Cameroon who finished as runners up will face Cote d’Ivoire for a place in the grand finale.
Both games of the 11th All African Games are billed to hold on Tuesday.
